On Tuesday 18/06/2024 we went to Pounamu Pathway in Greymouth. We had this booklet with a treasure hunt we had to draw something that stood out to us. We had to anwser some true or false questions we had to draw some patterns that were on the wall and other stuff. I really liked the big sculpture. I learnt some other stuff too. Ngai Tahu started his walk in kaikoura and ended his walk at kaiapoi. I really liked the battle arena because the music in the battle arena was really cool because there were fighting noises and all sorts of stuff. it was really fun. I hope we can go there again and on the way out there was a big greenstone that you can touch.
Today we did a summary about eels. We had 4 paragraphs. We did each paragraph individually. Each paragraph was about 70 to 80 words and we had to summarise it in 10 to 15 words. We had to get the key words these are my summaries of the four paragraphs.
4: An eel goes on a journey on land when it’s raining to get to sea.
3: Eels wriggle on wet land to get to the sea.
2: In Australia when eels get old they leave their home.
1: The baby eels start to swim to their home that the mother came from to start the cycle again.
and this all turnnd out to be 54 words. Would you do this? Let me know.
